I’ll be honest — when it comes to certain things in life, we all tend to put them off if they don’t spark our interest. I’m no different. As a mom, I try my best to set a good example, but I’m far from perfect. Someone once told me, “Do the thing you least want to do first — get it out of the way so you can move on to what brings you joy.” For me, that joy comes from cleaning, caretaking… and singing. 🎶

Throughout the day, I find myself inspired by the little things. The smile of someone I meet, a small detail I notice, or even a simple quiet moment can fuel my creativity. At my core, I want to build connections, serve others, create welcoming homes, and support those who need it most. Life hasn’t always been easy — like all of us, I’ve faced hardship, loss, and grief. But those moments have also taught me to truly cherish joy, family, and togetherness.

One person who shaped me more than anyone was my grandmother. She used to say with so much fire in her voice: “If you want it done right, do it yourself!” At the time, I’d laugh it off — but oh, how I get it now. That self-motivation she pushed into me became the foundation of my life and work. It took years to build confidence in myself, but once I found it, that inner drive became unstoppable. It’s what pushes me to show up, to give my best, and to believe that you can overcome anything with heart and determination.

And here’s the thing — inspiration flows best in a space that feels calm and cared for. A tidy kitchen, an organized closet, a sparkling bathroom — these aren’t just chores checked off a list.
