Yesterday, I drove home from a long, physically demanding move-out cleaning job. It was exhausting but incredibly satisfying to see the transformation. On the way back, I was already running through my to-do list: a quick stop at the bank, laundry waiting at home, some online work to finish, and school pickup for my daughter.

Once I picked her up, our evening filled quickly — a trip to the park, cooking dinner together, reading stories, playing with Otto (our ever-energetic German Shepherd), and finally winding down for the night.

This morning, as I poured my coffee, it struck me how quickly time passes. The days blur when we’re busy, and yet, what truly matters is carving out space for the people and values that ground us. For me, that means working hard, setting an example for my girls, and living by the values my family instilled in me: integrity, resilience, and treating others the way you’d like to be treated.
